LG Electronics brought the house down at Xylo in BGC with the official launch of the LG xboom by will.i.am speaker lineup — a fusion of advanced AI audio technology, sleek design, and pop culture flair. The high-energy Pop Goes Boom party transformed the venue into a K-Pop dance frenzy, featuring live performances, immersive product demos, and special appearances from local celebrities and influencers. 


LG xboom by will.i.am: A New Era of Smart Sound

The night opened with Mr. Yongwoo Park, Product Director for Media Solutions at LG Philippines, hyping the crowd with an upbeat welcome. “Tonight, the bass doesn’t just play — it pops,” he said, setting the tone for an evening of big beats and bold sound.



Ms. Mildred Bugay, Product Manager for Audio, introduced the 2025 xboom collection, tuned by Experiential Architect will.i.am. The lineup — Stage 301, Bounce, Grab, and Buds — promises richer tones, immersive listening, and versatile connectivity. With Auracast technology, users can link multiple AI speakers for an expansive soundstage.

On display were LG’s latest models, including the XBOOM XL Series, XBOOM Go, and XBOOM RN Series, each designed for different lifestyles — from all-out party setups to portable, personal listening.

K-Pop Dance Battle Ignites the Stage

Partnering with Philippine KPOP Convention Inc., LG brought together top local dance crews for a high-energy K-Pop Dance Battle. Acts included DazZ Official, Excrementum, Kairos, Principtium, and Psycho — each bringing unique style and explosive choreography.

After electrifying performances, Principtium claimed the championship, followed by Kairos in second place and Psycho in third. All other teams received an LG xboom Bounce as a special award.

AI Dance Challenge and Celebrity Performances

The LG xboom AI Dance Challenge, choreographed by Jaja Sagmayao, invited audience members to groove to “Gnarly” by KATSEYE. Winners, chosen by crowd cheers, went home with LG xboom products.

Pop sensation NEW:ID lit up the stage with hits like Ghost and Deja Vu, while Zephanie, Idol Philippines 2019 Grand Champion, delivered powerful renditions of Problem and Bang Bang. DJ Dara closed the night with an infectious K-Pop party mix.

Celebrities, Influencers, and Tech Meets Lifestyle

The event also saw appearances from Sandra Jung, Kristy Cho, Mika Reyes, and Bianca Yao with the Gamers' Run Club, adding a lifestyle twist to the tech celebration.
