MANILA, Philippines – July 17, 2025 – TCL continues its winning streak, retaining the top spot as the Philippines’ No. 1 Panel TV Brand for the second consecutive year. The latest Annual Cumulative Market Share Data for Panel TVs by TRS Research confirms TCL’s dominance, further solidifying its global leadership in the television industry.

TCL Tops Market Share in Value and Volume

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, TCL achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the No. 1 position in both value and volume market share for its core TV business. Notably, TCL also led the premium TV segment, clinching the top spot for QLED televisions, according to TRS Research.

This achievement follows TCL’s recent recognition from Omdia as the Global TOP 1 brand in three categories: ultra-large TVs, Mini LED TVs, and Google TVs.

Global Leadership Backed by Omdia Data

Omdia’s latest data reveals that TCL led global shipments of 85-inch and larger TVs in 2024 with a 22.1% market share. The brand also secured the No. 1 spot in Mini LED TV shipments, with a 28.8% share, and maintained its leadership in Google TV shipments worldwide from 2021 to 2024.

These results underscore TCL’s strong momentum in delivering high-performance, technologically advanced televisions to homes worldwide, including Filipino households.

Strengthening Its Global Footprint with the Olympic Partnership

Building on its milestones, TCL has recently announced its global partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which will extend through 2032. This collaboration underscores TCL’s dedication to excellence and performance, aiming to enhance both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As part of this partnership, TCL will provide cutting-edge technology solutions to the Olympic Village, improving fan and athlete experiences on-site and at home. The company will also support the IOC’s Olympic AI Agenda, helping to elevate the Games’ digital reach and engagement.

TCL will play a crucial role in initiatives like “Athletes Moments,” allowing athletes to instantly connect with loved ones worldwide after their competitions.

“Through this partnership, TCL's innovations will ignite inspiration in billions, delivering exceptional experiences and contributing to a sustainable future all over the globe,” added Mr. Chen.
