The HONOR X70 features the brand’s signature top-centered circular camera island and offers new color options: Bamboo Green, Cinnabar Red, Moon White, and Midnight Black. It boasts impressive build quality with a reinforced back shell, Honeycomb bracket, shock-absorbing middle frame, under-screen damping layers, and tempered glass, all contributing to a phone that combines a premium feel with durability.
HONOR claims the X70 is rugged inside and out, earning the first gold-label three-proof certification alongside SGS five-star reliability. It can reportedly survive drops from up to 2.5 meters and resists over 10 ground drops.
The phone also boasts multiple ingress protection ratings: IP66, IP68, IP69, and even IP69K. This means it can withstand high-pressure water jets and brief immersion in boiling water, cementing its status as a true rugged device.
On the front, the HONOR X70 sports a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K (2640 x 1200) resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, full DCI-P3 color gamut, impressive 6,000 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.
Under the hood is Qualcomm’s 2.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 octa-core processor, paired with an Adreno GPU. Users can choose from RAM options of 8GB or 12GB, with storage variants of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The highlight feature of this device is its massive 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery. HONOR claims a six-year durability rating for this third-generation battery technology. Charging is convenient with 80W HONOR SuperCharge via USB-C and 80W wireless charging support (exclusive to the 512GB variant).
For photography, the HONOR X70 is equipped with a 50MP main camera with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS, capable of recording 4K videos. It also features stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience.
The device supports WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM functionality. It runs Android 15 out of the box with HONOR’s MagicOS 9.0 interface.
