Since 2022, LG has committed to positive community change and announces the 2025 LG Ambassador Challenge entries are open as of March 13, 2025. This global initiative, led by LG Philippines with KFHI and CCK, demonstrates LG’s dedication to empowering communities and supporting sustainability.
The LG Ambassador Challenge focuses on collaboration to create meaningful change. It invites individuals, groups, and organizations to propose innovative solutions for significant social challenges and enhance lives. Since its inception, the program has empowered local changemakers by offering financial assistance and resources to realize their projects, thereby making a lasting difference in communities.
Launched in Bangladesh in 2017, the LG Ambassador Challenge has expanded throughout Asia, inspiring individuals and organizations to suggest solutions to significant societal challenges. The program offers financial grants to chosen projects, equipping changemakers to promote impactful and sustainable change within their communities.
The LG Ambassador Challenge achieved remarkable results in the Philippines. In 2024, Life's Good Library On the Go visited seven barangays in Nagcarlan, Laguna, providing educational opportunities for children in underserved communities. They also received free eye checkups from a local optometrist. Previous winners include Life is Good in Calauan, Laguna, which installed solar-powered light posts enhancing community safety, and Paliparan Community Livelihood in Dasmariñas, Cavite, which supported housewives and out-of-school youth. Flowing Water for Growing Future in Lawaguin, Laguna, provided potable water, improving lives and empowering communities. 2022 winners included Ride for Hope by Bahay Aruga in Quezon City, offering ambulance transport for child cancer patients, and Roof for Siargao by Red Charity Gala, aiding home reconstruction after Typhoon Odette in December 2021.
This year, LG, KFHI, and CCK are focusing on key areas that can create meaningful change:
By utilizing LG's products and technology, participants can develop practical solutions that have the potential to create a lasting, positive impact on their communities.
Mr. Nakhyun Seong, Managing Director of LG Philippines, expressed his excitement for the upcoming program: "The LG Ambassador Program reflects our ongoing commitment to the 'Life's Good' philosophy. It’s an honor to support Filipino changemakers who are working hard to uplift their communities. Through this program, we aim to embrace new ideas, support innovative solutions, and create a lasting positive impact on Filipino lives.”
